ai is horrible both scripting wise and ideas wise many succesful projects were based of movies in some way even gta vice city was somewhat inspired by movie scarface

I can get funding by doing commissions probably and pls donate, I just don’t wanna keep wasting my stuff on hiring people because then i’d have to do more. And it’s difficult to find the right ones.

yeah I know AI is horrible for scripting but I thought it would be good at atleast thinking of an idea.
I already know how to design UI, but I’ve tried models and animation and honestly. I can do basic animations, like really basic. But models? Nope.
VFX I haven’t tried but I already know i can’t design well. But i’ll try it out soon
Making a game is not on my roadmap at the moment. But if I had to come up with an idea. I would try asking ChatGPT for some ideas. Or maybe start with a genre first, then come up with the story and the idea. Look into off-platform games(specifically on itch.io) as they have some games that indie developers made, maybe you can recreate on of them(an example is granny or FNF). Get inspiration from everywhere and choose something you want to recreate.

If you want to make money than just copy the game design of popular games but put your own spin to it, I see many frontpage games that do this. If it’s a game outside roblox than just robloxify it. There’s too much risk on making a unique game, if it fails you are done, wasted time and money for nothing, so just do what works gain money and then work on your “dream” game, if you like it probably many others will, but you need the budget to reach those people.

The problem is though, alot of these “spins” have already been done for a certain idea. For example, I was looking at one of those 2 player obbies. I was thinking of my own spins. “carry the baby” but nope, that’s gone. Oh wait, walk a dog! nope that’s also gone.
Alot of people are monitoring the popular games so it’s kind of hard to think of a spin. I think it’s best to be the guy who made the idea in the first place.
I’ve found some unique game ideas that I came accross from watching some videos on youtube and deciding to make a game on that. The game will come out in the summer probably, I really think this one might just be the one.

Yeah he means a game that hasn’t been done before and people eventually start making clones of yours
