I want to create my own pistol, but since i don’t have enough resources to do it, i came here to ask some help and tips, i already have tried to use some pistol scripts that i found, but they were easy to be hacked, i thought create my own pistol might work, but i don’t know how to use that kind of stuff like raycast, so, how do i make a basic pistol? i accept tips. Here’s an entire article about creating a raycasting gun, it’s not compatible with filtering enabled I believe but since you’re only a beginner you could leave that for now and figure how to do it later.

That video is indeed very long, because it’s a step by step tutorial. It is better for someone to learn how to use raycasting, instead of just copying the written script. The article listed above is very neat and should be enough.
The video’s length might scare the watcher making him think it’s a very hard process even though it’s super simply thing to create
