Since PBRs/Surface Appearances have not yet been released to Roblox and don’t show up in game, I’ve been wondering if Surface Appearances can be faked or not. I saw another post on DevForum (How to make a normal map effect) that teaches how to fake normal and specular maps. Unfortunately, that tutorial uses photoshop to achieve that, and doesn’t include roughness maps. Is there any way that I can fake Surface Appearances (with normal, roughness, color, etc.) with textures using normal PBR mega scans? I got some free online and it looks like this: . Thanks!
