You should do that. Collusion type will save you a lot of time.

I haven’t find any resources for it, but I got an idea. If you use a StarterCharacter, you can animate the cape by setting some Motor6Ds in it. I hope you can reply to this.
Nope sadly this is a npc that has a cape on
You can then animate the cape with humanoid.
The cape is attached only in the middle of the cape therefore it can spin around, maybe add 2 more attachments/constraints on the top corners of the cape!
