I have seen a post but it involves textures and you know how laggy they are. If you wanna see my progress so far I am putting down the link down and you can give me tricks and tips and yes the best spot with the lighting is the tower.Do check it out and tell how can I improve.my lighting.

Well, it depends. GTA 5 has many different areas with lighting that makes the environment. Since this is ROBLOX, the lighting can only be so good. however, I recommend you have shadowmap on, and use sunrays (In the lighting category in Explorer). As for in game, it will be hard to explain it. You should use a blend of beams, point lights, and spotlights to spice up areas of the map. Look at your build, and imagine how it would like in real life. how would a lamppost affect the environment’s lighting? You should also use a custom skybox, that gives the map a flare.
Here are a few examples/ideas for lighting:
Lamppost - Outside
You should use a beam effect facing downwards (using attachments) to replicate the look of the lamppost shining light on the ground. A spot light wouldn’t hurt if done well.
Car lights - Outside
Yet again, beams would be useful to create this effect. You do not want to make the effect too strong though.
