Absolutely. I’m purely talking about sponsoring though. Assuming the player knows nothing about the game, what would lead them to click a sponsored game?
well it would help if they could
- See what the game was about
- Know (or at least hear) about it beforehand from connections
- Think that the game has good value / quality
- Tell the gameplay is addicting, interesting, or up their alley
- Guess that there is actual effort in the game
- Believe that it is fun to play with others
and etc
It might also help if there are a good amount of players on it (so that it looks like people are interested in it, bandwagoning)
Ha ha yeah, that’s all really hard to get across with just a game icon.
Maybe I should use my ads again or something next, just to see if I get more people from them.
I believe the best way would be to make a flashy thumbnail like people have been saying and spend a lot of the sponsor. I, however, don’t like to use sponsors for that exact reason. They don’t do too well, at least for me. I personally would suggest advertisements instead to attract potential players.
Advertisements and connections. The connections part is very important. The more people know about you and your game the better. If for example you are known for making high quality projects on discord servers, a lot of people you tell will join bc of your rep. Theres some servers made for developers also where people join so they can get in new games before others and devs join so they can sponsor their games. Ask around and meet new people. Socialize and find new places. Get friends who tell their friends and their friends… so on
For once, the new destiny dlc is actually good haha.
If you do use advertisements do something like this because I feel they attract the most players and just look amazing.
everything except the play now is ok lol
I know I’m probably spamming at this point but wow, that worked like a charm. I made an ad like that and my ctr is at 1.25%! Way better.
Send me the image so I can evaluate it. Also those ads usually get a good CTR because they grab the users attention by showing the possibilities in the game while also encouraging them to play the game.
Are you sure your CTR percentage was less then 0.3%? I ran a ad with some random pictures and not a single roblox character and got a ctr of .75
.75 isn’t that like 75% of a certain amount of people
Here are my tips:
-
Sponsor on phone
It gets about 10x more clicks than sponsoring on computer. I remember I sponsored less robux on phone and more on computer, and phone got 4x more clicks, despite the fact I gave less robux to sponsor on phone! -
Sponsor on Fridays/weekends/holidays on phone
More players may be more likely to be online if it is on a weekend or on a holiday.
Firstly to @spidy123222, a .75 CTR means that .75% people who saw this ad clicked on it, or, in other words, 75 out of every 1000 people.
Now, the OP asked this last year, so I don’t know why you bumped this @TheGuyThatScripts?
Also, the OP’s CTR was .26% for sponsoring games, which are reserved game spots that you can take via bidding robux. It seems like your referring to just ads, which are different. Besides, CTR doesn’t correlate to success. If you put a clickbaity one (like ones with random images), you can attract more clicks, but not necessarily more players.
