How do I get rid of this red highlight that replaces words on my script? I must’ve triggered it by accident and I can’t turn it off.

Try pressing the “Insert” key on your keyboard. It may be seen as “Ins”
Although, you may have a different problem. Could you provide a screenshot as incapaz stated?
Does it actually replace the words or does it sorta delete them?
It replaces the characters with whatever I type next.
You’re not pointing at anything exactly, it’s rather unclear. Could you specify exactly what this “red highlight” is?
The red highlight at the end of “FindFirstChild()” in the screen shot replaces the closing bracket with whatever letter I type on the keyboard, making it impossible to actually write a script.
Yeah press insert/ins, it might show on the numberpad if your keyboard even has one as 0.
