I was exploring a local rbxl file i had on my computer a few days ago when i probably ended up pressing a random shortcut which brung up the tab which lets you create a new experience either from scratch or a template. Strangely the text is jarbled unicode gibberish which looks a bit cryptic?? What is this?
Fake.
This is a glitched window of one in the Roblox Studio homescreen. Try clicking around there to try to close the window. If all else fails, you should clear your app data for studio. Somebody else may know exactly which button to press to close this since I don’t know at the moment.
Nope!
thanks for jumping to conclusions because of the issue’s absurdity. you’re a very helpful person.
I mean, if it’s just a new place creation screen, you could just close studio and reopen it, no? So even if it’s not fake, what’s the problem other than it looking kinda funky?
i just opened up a new experience because its the fastest way for me to show it. this shows up every time i open a project in studio.
This is probably some unhelpful troll behind the account anyway, but nice try nonetheless.
Thanks for jumping to conclusions because of the issue’s absurdity. How am I supposed to know it pops up every time?
Just uninstall and reinstall Studio then if you can’t use it properly.
Fair.
Nothing changed though.
I deleted the app, emptied my bin and reinstalled with a newly downloaded installer.
Maybe try deleting your Roblox appdata folder and then reinstall Studio? This is the path to it on Windows: %appdata%/../Local/Roblox
If you have any local plugins then you have to back them up before deleting the folder.
Otherwise I guess you can try deleting it from the CoreGui if it’s there as a temporary fix.
I did the macOS equivalent with ~/Library/Preferences
which didn’t work, so i had to get an app cleaner tool to completely do a clean install. Thanks for trying to help though. Sorry about the hostility.
