Hi all! I’m having an issue with bringing avatars accessories/clothing into Blender. Now I already have a rig set up for GFX work/UGC presentation (SoftyGB’s rig, very nice!) but what I can’t figure out is putting items/clothing on it. I’ve searched for countless DevForum and YouTube tutorials for help, but it was all to no avail. Any help is appreciated!
It’s close, but not exactly what I mean. Very useful video though, it’ll definitely help me in the future.
What I mean by my post though, is that I want the textures and accessories somehow saved from that player, and then import them into Blender already on the rig’s origin. Now, RoBuilder did make a video on this, but as far as I know, he’s the only one who has. Maybe someone can figure out what he’s saying because none of it makes sense, nor does it work and it’s twisting my brain like a pretzel.
I’m a GFX Artist just export the whole rig, it will add the items…
That is plenty do-able and definitely would do the job, no doubt. But by exporting the entire character from Studio i would be limited with what I could do with it since it’s R6. The video link I provided from RoBuilder with SoftyGB’s rig would allow me to go greater lengths, like bending the characters arms for better poses/angles, or could even be used for animating.
