I’m the creator of Money Tycoon (link), and lately, I’ve been facing issues with my game’s CCU. The player count keeps going up and down unpredictably, and I’m struggling to maintain steady growth.
The game has solid core mechanics and decent content, but I suspect the problem might be with updates, player retention, or marketing — not sure exactly what needs the most improvement.
What I’m asking for:
Proven strategies to increase and stabilize CCU
Ideas on engagement features that keep players coming back
Suggestions on effective update frequency and content types
Tips for better onboarding or first-time user experience
Any other advice or tools you’ve found useful for CCU growth
I don’t have a huge budget for ads or collaborations, so I’m looking for practical, organic growth techniques.
when you first join the game, it takes a while to walk and claim your tycoon
usually there’s conveyors to make this faster
the rebirth button and the plus button next to the rebirth button open the store, so you can’t rebirth
I think the main problem though is that the gameplay loop is boring because this kind of tycoon is the most generic roblox game type. Even the map layout/dropper layout/gamepass layout looks copy pasted from the generic tycoon game everyone has already played

Also, I played it, and right off the bat, I see why it’s not doing well. It’s just another copy & paste deopper tycoon. That’s it. There’s not even a theme, so why should I play this tycoon over literally any other one?
One last thing...
I also bought a “mystery box” that did not disclose the item odds (against Roblox ToS btw) and got a broken gear. Thanks for that
