How do I intersect two parts of a roof with a ridge?

Hello!

(I apologize for the way I worded the title, it’s a bit hard to describe)

Basically, I’ve been building a complicated roof, and I have two parts of the roof that I need to intersect with one smooth line going down. The problem is, I have wooden beams in the ceiling that are protruding the roof (as seen below) which prevent me from accomplishing this without just covering the wooden beam with the brick material. In my opinion that would look odd though. How do I fix this?
