How do I make a 90 degree smooth curve at an upward angle?

I am practicing my studio building skills by creating a curved purple railing on a staircase. However, I can’t get the curve to be smooth. Any tips?

My attempt at the purple railing (Fail)

I used Archimedes, ResizeAlign, and GapFIll to attempt this purple railing but I still can’t get it right.

Just use blender.

You really can’t do that in studio.

Or pre-made the models in the CAD software of the first photo and continue from there. By math rules, the wooden parts of each stair (an example) are not a perfect rectangle, more of a trapezoid. There goes regular parts

or just use wedges too. this is completely possible with studio it would just not have as smooth curves and would take longer

Dang, I guess you’re right. I like keeping my workflow in roblox studio. Do you have any recommendations on simple geometric mesh packs with shapes like this? (Yes I checked toolbox but the shapes aren’t extensive enough)

Uhhh no. I don’t really use mesh packs.

As for keeping your workflow in Roblox studio, you aren’t wrong but sometimes things can become so complicated that it’s best to use some third-party-software like blender. Like you can make the curve at an upward angle but it would be insanely complicated and just a waste of time.

You can do this in studio if you change the parts’ origin to the location you want the stairs’s center point to be, unless you want to create a smooth upward slope with it as well.

The picture you provided in your post; however, can be recreated in studio. Here is a simple staircase that I just made in that style using wedges and parts.
