How do I make a bone-based rig a motor6d-based rig?

  • What are you attempting to achieve?
    I am attempting to achieve to make a VRoid Studio avatar (with major fixes in Blender, then imported into Roblox) be able to be controlled by Motor6Ds instead of Bones.

  • What is the issue?
    I use a plugin called Moon Animator and as such, It doesn’t support bones. I have tried using the normal Roblox animation plugin but I can’t get anywhere with it.

  • What solutions have you tried so far?

I’ve searched through the dev wiki, dev forum and etc for information about this topic. The only place that I can get close to is a post about converting motor6ds into bones.

If anyone can help me figure this out it would mean the world to me - I’m trying to achieve the same type of thing as, say, Dogu15, which uses Motor6Ds with no bones in sight.

I’ve been stumped on this for just about a month and I’ve only now had to come to try to ask anyone if they have a solution. If you do, please tell me because I haven’t really tinkered that much with this kind of stuff.
