Hello. I’m trying to make a UGC accessory and want to make a part of it transparent by using the Glass BSDF & Transparent BSDF material (by using the Mix Shader effect), but I’m hesitating because I don’t know if roblox even cares about the materials you select in blender, since it uses textures instead of materials for a mesh.
So, is there any way to make a part of a mesh transparent in Roblox?
I’ve been thinking that maybe Inverting Normals would work, but I suspect it won’t.
I’m trying to achieve something like this (without the cube, of course):
I personally can’t say for certain but I don’t think you can. One thing you could do is split the mesh into two parts. Then just weld the 2nd part to the first. Actually in this case you could probably just use a sphere part to create the dome and just have 1 mesh part.
