Basically I want to make arms and legs coming out of a cylindrical shape in Bender. When I use a cylinder and click shade smooth it becomes smooth. However when I fuse it with the arms and then try to sculpt shade smooth goes away and the cylinder is no longer smooth. I tried using a sphere and made it into a cylinder, but when I use subdivision modifier or shade smooth part of it won’t smooth. Does anyone know a good way to do this, thanks.
