How do I make a tool animation

I’m trying to make a sword animation for my game so, I decided to put the object on the Dummy’s hand and animate it. But, the object didn’t move with the arm in the animation can someone tell me what to do.

Did you create a Motor6D and connect the two parts? that might be the reason

Motor 6 D is a joint that support animation,You could try use rig builder and parent the tool in the rig you’ve created

Motor6D. You can always look something up really quickly if you’re unsure what it is. The Developer Hub features documentation and articles regarding development on Roblox that you can go through.
