How do I make a weld only affect one object?

So I have a Reaper Leviathan with a grab animation and all. But the problem is that, when a weld makes the player go into its claws, the weld also moves the Reaper to the player when I only want to player to move to the Reaper and not the other way around. Try changing the Reaper’s Root Priority

Do I change the root priority of all the parts that make it up? Or just the HumanoidRootPart?
