How do i make an effect like this?

So I wanna make a effect when a press Shift. What i came up with was putting the effect on the character and then animating it. then i just did a keybind animation and importing the animation i also tried doing tween service but it did not work. Sonic Stuff - YouTube

if anyone knows how to this can you give me some tips?

Also is it possible to script the effect to come out when pressing Shift?

place it into replicated storage or script parent then clone the ball and use weld
