I’m making an aquarium. I want the fish to be able to move up the Y axis. I’m using the regular roblox body as a temporary template.
As you can see, when the bot can’t reach a location because it’s too high, it just awkwardly stays in place. This is expected, but I don’t want this. Anyone know how I can change it? Explain to me like I’m 5.

To me, an easy way to achieve it would be just using Tweens, not use physics constraints nor pathfinding.
Just tween the model to the coordinates you desire, it will float and will go wherever the “food” (i think its food) is located
I would prefer pathfinding since the fish will be interactable and they’ll have different reactions to players near them. Basically, when players are in a tank, some may follow them out of curiosity, and some may avoid them.
