How do i make hills/grass/terrain out of part only without making it look like a flat baseplate?

So, I’m not sure if this has already been asked in this forum, but I couldn’t find any posts about it, so I’m making one.

I’m working on a map for my game, and I’ve always used terrain, which I’m good at. However, I don’t like it, and I’m not a fan of the hyper-realism it brings. I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to create hills and grass landscapes the same way other games have done it. For example, in these images, you can see hills and grass made entirely out of parts, and it’s not just a flat baseplate. That’s what I’m trying to achieve, but I have no clue how

Any ideas or ways to do this easily? or am i really this stupid? cause i can’t really figure it out
Thanks;;

Use terrain editor, then use the auto mode, check off what you want the terrain to incorporate and that should work.

You would have to use blender, that’s the easiest way in my opinion.

You can’t make the triangle terrain then.
