How do i make parts inside a roblox model stay attached to certain places?

Hi! Once again im back, this time with a parts problem.

How would i get parts to stay inside a roblox model, where i positioned it, and also why does it make my character unable to move.

Currently i have it set as StarterCharacter, and its not allowing me to move.

Like always, any help is appreciated.

You need to make sure it is unanchored, and weld it to your player.

There are many plugins to do this. I cannot remember the exact name of the plugin, but it has something to do with Motor6D. I would suggest looking at YouTube for a tutorial on StarterCharacters and armors. Currently with the amount of demand with this type of stuff, it should not be a problem to find a tutorial.
Hope this helps,

You would need to create a weld inside the new part you are adding, and then edit said weld to connect a part on the player to your part.

Figured that out, but i cant move when i change the name to StarterCharacter

Make sure its not anchored, or maybe a weld is made incorrectly
