Is there an easier way to do it rather trhan just setting stud gap to 0.01 and trying to line it up?

however I’m not sure it always strictly connects them retrospectively in the middle, but it helps regardless if you further align it yourself to precision.
If this isn’t a very visible detail I wouldn’t recommend stressing trying to line it up too perfectly, these usually end up being unnoticeable to the naked eye anyway as long as there isn’t a gap.
What do you mean by this? As far as I know, it aligns parts like that perfectly.
You’re correct, I should’ve specified that it does align parts as such perfectly so long they’re roughly the same size, rotated the same amount in the opposing directions and properly poisitioned to be connected in the very middle to create a perfect mirror.
I just remember having instances where not meeting some of those conditions would connect them in a way that drifts one side to be more strecthed than the other thus creating an imperfect mirror, but that is obviously not the plugin’s fault in those cases and otherwise works flawlessly indeed
