Hello! For a game I’m assisting I would like to set the camera’s Position to an specific are underwater.
The script works almost perfectly fine with 1 big issue.
Underwater the view is bad.
This is how it Looks in Studio.
Looks good, doesn’t it?
This is how it Looks ingame at the exact same positition:
Doesn’t look that good.
Is there any way, I can fix this?
Change the water transparency under the game terrain settings.
It is already 1… It seems to only affect the water’s top’s transparency.
What about WaterReflectance? How much is that?
It’s 1 but Setting it to 0 makes no difference.
Setting the WaterTransparency setting seems to work for me.
Locate the Terrain object under Workspace;
And edit the WaterTransparency to get rid of the “fog” effect;
Hmm, have you tried setting Water color to anything lighter?
Nope. Totally doesn’t work.
Nope. Totally doesn’t work. Anyother ?
Are you sure you’re publishing the changes?
I’m not Publishing, but playing Solo.
sry for bad english
The same happens to me when the camera is far away
When it gets closer, I see it better
Maybe you can put the Cam closer to it?
Can you replicate this with using a blank project? I think you maight have changed some other settings in Lighting to cause this?
This is what I get.
I dont think there is a way to fix this. I recommend using something that isnt smooth terrain water.
If you want to see through it try playing with the graphics in settings
You could instead of water use a part:
Material: Forcefield
Transparency: 0.8
Just as you, I think there is no way to fix thix.
Graphic Settings didn’t hep either.
