Now, I think the interior of the map is fine, but the exterior looks off to me, and I don’t want it to look like that since the game will mostly take place outside, I do not know if it is the lighting/atmosphere (I am pretty sure it is) or the actual build itself.

I am also trying to save performance but this does not mean that I cannot make the map more detailed, If anybody can tell me how to make this map look better it would be greatly appreciated, I will also accept any type of criticism as long as its not too negative.
I’m no developer, but I think maybe adding some fallen dead trees on the inside, making some blood footprints that can really match well in the grass can help, or adding some creepy notes around the map, like in stop it slender (that’s more like the purpose of stop it slender). another alternative, not to the map but to the experience would be first person character and having the character see very dark and have a flashlight. maybe these ideas could help ya out
add mist/fog or whatever its called and maybe some scary stuff like blood and some scary text written on wall with blood use particleemitter and mess around with lighting to give your game an scary look
• Possibly if your trying to make the environment more scary, add Heavy rain with wind. it makes the surrounding more alive compared to just a plain old forest
• Taller trees could be a good idea as it Towers over the player making it so your trapped in a way
• Darker environment or harder to see, The Feeling of not being able to see that far in front is chilling for the player
I would make forest more dense with larger trees with size variations (unless you are going for a 2000s low-poly style), make the OutdoorAmbient darker, and change the lighting technology to Future. The sky is also way too bright for a nighttime atmosphere in my opinion and the fog should be black and more dense.
