Ok so I remade the game and its still under development tell me what you think
this is kinda hard to answer , becauseroblox obbies dont really have a core gamplay
I’ve tried the game, and all I can say is that–It looks the same as the other obbies on roblox right now with just an added gimmicks… Obby doesn’t really have a core gameplay as the guy above me said… So only kids or people that’s bored usually play this type of game and it will all just depend if the player is fond of the game.
My suggestion is: make something unique about it or just hop on the trends and popular games in roblox right now
I played through the 9 stages of the game, and it’s hard to give suggestions to an obby.
The only things that would make it unique is have controls such as Shift to Dash and special gimmick or a storyline.
One of the issues with the obby that stands out to me is that every stage is very long without a lot of variation. A lot of the obstacle types you’ve got going aren’t bad on their own, but there are way too many of the same kind of obstacle for each stage and it gets repetitive fast. If you’re looking to make a hard obby, you could try playing some Difficulty Chart Obbies for inspiration since they tend to have stages that are difficult yet are also compact and full of variety.
Yea i should do that thanks for that
You guys think I should make the stages stand out to this title such as changing them?
Introduction:
In experience of playing this game, I have noticed a few potential fixes/issues in the duration I’ve played. Also as soon as I joined i felt it felt a bit… well… boring…
Issues:
I noticed a few UI issues e.g. UI Corner, Letters slightly bigger than border, Map boredome, ect. I’ve listed some of the issues in screenshots below.
Suggestions
I have a few potential suggestions to make your game a bit better!
â—Ź Respawn time too long!
For games with titles such as “Hardest Obby in Roblox!” You want to keep your players into the game for a long time! How do you do that? Think of a killing game! You get so frustrated when you die, and you just have to wait a while like the respawn time! More respawn time = more rage.
â—Ź First Impressions
Generally you want your player to think this is going to be a good game! Games with hard beginnings may instantly make your player leave.
â—Ź Icons matter!
Anybody who would get this game recommended in their recommendations may see this game, but it wouldnt seem clickable. Try to add text to your icon (not too much) and something following trends, tell the entire story of the game, ect.
Not so great.
Good icon!
â—ŹBetter UI
UI makes a huge impact on your game! Try to make your UI as friendly, nicest as possible!
In Conclusion/Last Thoughts
Try to follow all of these tips and mabye grab a few players into your game! Also try to make your friends play aswell to gain visits! Exploit protection also helps since it can increase the impression of your game. Also try to have a high like rate since nobody will play a 20% rating game.
Will do thanks for the feedback!
Starting off:
The game page itself does not look good, infact I wanted to not try this game after simply looking at the game page.
Points of issue:
-
The thumbnails are not appealing in the slightest, and the map in general looks ugly and they’re too zoomed out with no interest to them (no text, no “primary” focus)
(Low-Poly trees don’t mix with studs) -
The resolution of one thumbnail seems jokingly low
-
The description, for me at least, was really off-putting.
These parts in the description just seem stupid
- Premium players get exclusive rewards??
- Why add a rebirth system to an obby
- Why are coins important?
- The tags are unappealing
- The title isn’t all that appealing, and infact quite misleading.
The actual game, and its gameplay:
Why spawn the player with the sword tool, any why even have that in the game? thats beyond stupid.
Why have 2 of the exact same stage
Why make the player fall so much before dying
2 stud wrap arounds are not difficult in the slightest.
infact, looking at the whole obby it just seems repetitive, boring and insanely easy.
Left at level 13, only taking me 5 minutes to get there, meaning I was beating 2.6 levels per minute, which doesn’t scream “difficult” to me at all. And, with 2.6 levels per minute, it would take me around 12 minutes to beat the entire game in its current state. Not very long for a “difficult” obby.
You want to see an actual hard obby game? Check out ETOH.
-
This game was so plain easy and boring that it didn’t hold my interest
-
It had bad, confusing, stupid mechanics/features that simply shouldn’t be in a single obby
-
It has ZERO quality of life features (no quick reset button, respawning is the default 5 seconds etc)
-
The UI design is terrible, it seems you’ve used images as emojis instead of just actually typing emojis and thus, caused them to be offset from text, but also the UI animations don’t seem to be tweens as YOU CAN SEE THE ANIMATION JITTER LIVE.
And I’m really questioning your monetization for this game. Level skips I understand, but literally everything else?
Now, let me talk gamepasses quickly.
Why do you have 50 million donation gamepasses and not developer products?
Adding on, ignoring that most of the gamepasses don’t have icons, is it really that hard to not steal gamepass icons?
Now, lets talk tools, most of which being gamepasses I’d assume.
- Speed & Jump Coils, Flying Carpet, anything movement related. Why have these? They just ruin the game. If the point of the game is to be difficult, and you can pay to remove the difficult, the game has no appeal.
- Why a Ban Hammer? I’m not going to buy it to see what it does, but judging by the name, it kicks or just straight up bans players. Why sell this?
- Boombox. These haven’t been relevant since all audio went private.
- Sword/Other Weapons. Again, why have these at all? Its like you know the obby itself isn’t difficult so you implemented PVP as a way to make players upset and “increase difficulty”
And in general, other critiques I have:
- UI navigation was abysmal
- UI Design and coloring was terrible. Get some consistency and colors that look good together.
- Music and sounds were too loud
- Music was repetitive
- Skybox was too cartoony
- Lighting was far too bright
- Ignoring the inconsistent style I mentioned with the thumbnails, the fact that everything is the same color is terrible, gives zero sense of progression.
This is just a pretty generic, boring slop obby that claims to be something that its absolutely not.
The entire difficulty in this obby comes in the form of not getting so bored by how easy it is that you leave.
How to make it “less boring”
I’d say the best thing you could do is to restart from scratch.
Don’t implement all these stupid mechanics like swords and coins and rebirths into an obby, and if you want a difficult obby, ACTUALLY MAKE IT DIFFICULT AND NOT RAGE BAIT.
There is a VERY LARGE difference between annoying and difficult.
-
Annoying is like those duplicate stages I mentioned, they weren’t hard all things considered, they were just insanely timing heavy which made them annoying, not difficult.
-
Difficult is what you see in ETOH. No spam moving parts, no constantly resizing objects, just pure difficult gameplay.
Sure, the gameplay may make you annoyed if you’re unskilled, but that’s not fault of the gameplay, but the player.
You could tell me that these are impossible to pass:
In response, I’d laugh at you and do this:
Why am I bothering to say this?
What you have is difficult, for someone who has never played an obby before, or for someone who doesn’t know that obbies can actually be difficult.
And what I did there isn’t even close to the limit of what you can do. I’m still a complete amateur obby-wise.
To sum everything up though, and to answer your question directly:
- The obby is boring because its easy and annoying. It is a rage game, not a difficult game.
Sheesh your response is waaaay more harsh than mine. Although I really think it’s a good idea to have a hard response (it allows for deeper feedback) when iIke reading it I was like “Daaang”.
Also I bet if I didn’t do that long ol’ paragraph you wouldn’t have done that.
Thanks for being honest i know what to do now
Played your game, but you need to make a obby game that is more fun and unique, the game is too similar to the other games.
in the stages, i see that the stages are repetitive and also boring.
The UI in this game is pretty much broken, rejoining the game gives you free infinte skips, which breaks your game’s balance and economy. This is a major bug and should be patched immediately.
ITS NOT RECOMMENDED SELLING ADMIN COMMANDS INTO YOUR GAME, IT CAN RUIN OTHER PLAYERS EXPERIENCE, PLAYERS CAN ABUSE THIS.
as an advanced obbyist, i feel like the stages are too easy for me and i dont know why you are calling this the “Hardest Obby on Roblox”
Please decrease the respawn time, why is it so long to respawn?
No people never mention this, but the checkpoint sound is from Minecraft and is copyrighted. I suggest you remove it and replace it to something else.
Gamepasses:
These gamepasses in your game are pretty much P2W-based, and are very common in obbies, and why did you add them if you call this the hardest obby? Paying for these gamepasses = ruin the fun factor.
No one will never spend robux in this game unless the game is fun enough.
I’ve checked out ban hammer gamepass, also why did you add this? Banning someone by purchasing a gamepass is just making a game to get more disliked.
Questions:
Why do i have a linked sword in my inventory? This is not a sword fighting game rather a obby game.
The lighting is really bright, i suggest you decreasing it.
Can you tell me the reason why is theres coins? I don’t see anything how to purchase something for coins.
What are “Chains” Gamepasses are supposed to do? There’s no image of a gamepass to describe what does it look like? No one will not buy it unless you made it clear about this gamepass mean.
Overall, You need to remake the obby and make it more fun and unique. Or you can make a seed-based obby styled game with unique parkour mechanics.
Core Concept: 3.5
Level Design: 3.0
Player Fairness: 1.5
UI/UX Design: 2.0

Thanks, the purpose of coins is for the player to buy gears everytime they complete a stage but ig I can remove that since most obbys dont do that
The problem is that i havent played obbys for inspiration that’s probably why I made the stages how I made them
Plus im always on studio and not on roblox more often
So me and 2 of my friends just got on the game, again, and holy its worse than I initially thought.
Entirely remove rebirths, coins, the shop, the obby, literally everything needs to be restarted bro.
The game is SO BAD and its so easy to literally skip everything which removes the entire point of playing the game, one of my friends said “I could fall asleep playing this”
-
The obby itself sucks.
-
Rejoining the game doesn’t teleport you to where you were
-
The lack of a level selector is really annoying
-
The shop is too OP. (it voids purchasing any gamepasses since you can buy a FLYING CARPET FOR FREE AFTER 8 LEVELS)
-
The rebirth system is stupid.
-
The shop has no place in an obby.
-
The gamepasses, similar to what the shop does, entirely removes the point of playing the game and every gamepass you have simply shouldn’t exist.
-
The UI navigation is so much worse than I thought. Having to open a menu to open another menu, and then when you want to close that menu you gotta re-open the first menu and click the same button to open the second menu to close both the second and first menu is stupid.
-
As other people said, you can’t add a “Core Loop” to an obby. Your attempt of adding rebirths has done NOTHING but make the game seem cheap. No ones going to replay the same obby they just beat for a number.
-
The free model map at the end, as I said before, is insanely unfitting and completely random, the free model tools on it don’t work and half of them are anchored, as well as them having no point to even be there in the first place.
-
The games server-side is just riddled with bugs, me buying the gold flying carpet somehow gave one to both of my friends.
I mean it when I say it; if you actually want this game to be good you have to delete everything and restart from scratch. There’s no saving what you have.
From the obby itself being terrible to the gamepasses and everything between, its all just terrible.
What you have right now is a game people will play for maybe 3 minutes before leaving. No money spent, no enjoyment, no nothing.
So, what would I say you should do?
-
Remove rebirths. They’re useless, just make a long and enjoyable obby that people will actually play instead of trying to rely on people replaying it.
-
Remove the shop, coins, gamepasses and everything associated.
-
Restart the entire obby, use colors to add a sense of progression and if you want your game to live up to its name, actually make it difficult, although good luck dethroning this game, or this one.
-
Redesign the entire UI, make it actually navigatable and look good.
-
Entirely redo your lighting setup. Lower the brightness a lot, change the skybox, etc.
-
When designing the map, use a consistent style. If your obby uses studs, make everything use studs. Don’t just go grab “low poly map” from the toolbox and throw it in, it clashes with literally every other part of the building style. If you’re using studs, use exclusively roblox parts, no meshes no nothing. Just parts.
-
Remove the sword you spawn with. Its not a PVP game, and as I said, your game should actually be difficult, not annoying.
-
Replace every single “donate” gamepass with a Developer Product, as you can buy a developer product an infinite number of times without having to delete it from your inventory, because it never goes into your inventory.
-
Redesign game thumbnails and gamepass icons. If you aren’t using good tools to make them already, I’d recommend Photopea.
And also, as someone mentioned, copyright.
You really shouldn’t use minecraft’s sounds, the XP sound, the UI click sound, etc.
And, as for your gamepasses, I can only imagine exactly what the “sonic chain” and “shadow chain” are, and if they are what I’m thinking they are, remove them entirely.
Also another tip of mine is to not use so much tags and dont reapeat words too much! (Too much tags can make a developer look/seem desperate. )
Try to go for something like this:
Incredibly easy
Server-sided spinners (should be client sided otherwise it’s quite laggy, especially with many at a time)
Very repetitive stages
Bad UI design
No alignment keys
No mobile shiftlock
No R to reset
A crazy amount of gamepasses
NO LEVEL SELECTOR?
You can get tools from the end area and then rebirth and you don’t lose them
Why market a game as an incredibly hard obby and then make it easy and pay to win? And WHY is there a shop that allows people to buy a literal RAINBOW CARPET after a few stages?? What even is this? If you’re going for a hard obby make it actually hard and don’t allow people to skip it a few stages in… Why is there even a shop? And the UI design does not flow at all.
You should remake most of the game.
Trust me, the game will be redesigned
