Hi modelers,
I am currently trying to make the bottom of this model smooth in blender. I have tried the shade smooth option and it does not work. I don’t know if there are too many vertices or triangles, but I would like to make it smooth. Please help.

Select all the faces you want smooth and go to the Faces menu and choose > Smooth Faces.
Also try googling Blender issues for tutorials since this isn’t a Blender forum.

Where is the Faces Menu I cannot find it.
In order to access the face menu press CTRL+F.

You have to get sandpaper and use it on your monitor.

Why do I need to do that? Like how does that relate to the topic?
Instead of Object mode (top left of your screen) select the mesh and change it to Edit mode.
Select the faces you want smooth.
Where the View/Select/Add/Object tool tabs are on the top left you’ll see Mesh/Vertices/Edges/Faces tool tabs.
Choose the Faces tool, then from the drop-down menu choose Smooth Faces.
Because sandpaper smooths things. Common sense.
