Heya.
Ever since Roblox updated their interface, I’ve been more than ever infuriated by how ugly it is and how it affects the placement of Art Design in general – which is very harsh for me to say, but it’s true.
Here’s what my UI looks like in-studio:
Now here’s what it looks like in-game:
Back then, if the UI was positioned at the top, it would be at the top. But every time I leave the Y Scale alone to 0, it gives me this gross gap that is surely not needed.
If I move it up more, it’s going to complicate things even more because I plan having buttons on this interface I created. Not only would it complicate things more, but it would surely look ugly being so uneven compared to the other GUIs created by Roblox themselves. (The tiny space on the top.)
So far the best result I’ve heard is just filling up the entire gap with a singular color. I’m pretty sure Flood Escape accomplished this, correct me if I’m wrong. I’m trying really hard to avoid that but so far it just seems to be the only viable option.
How do I approach this? How do you guys approach this?
