How do I post in a topic I don’t have access to create a post in?

I’d like to make an request under #platform-feedback:engine-features but I am currently not able to post in it. I remember there being some process to doing this, but I can’t remember the page that explains it.

As a New Member, you’re able to submit posts through the post approval process (outlined below) by creating your desired post in the #bulletin-board category, and then sending a message containing a link to your post to the @Post_Approval group. The members of this group will give you feedback, and once you’ve improve your post based on that feedback they’ll move it for you.

What if I want to post in a category I don’t have access to?

If you want to post a feature request, bug report, or some other issue/request as a New Member, make the thread in the #bulletin-board category first. Then, please click here to send a message to the Post_Approval group, and include the link to your Bulletin Board thread. We will review your thread and move it to the right category after we approve it. (This whole process is commonly referred to as the “post approval process”.)

Contributing quality posts & using any feedback provided to improve through this process is a good way to demonstrate your ability to correctly utilise the forum .
