How do I prevent "floaty" gravity in my game?

When I jump during testing of my game, the character has a bit of time where they float down instead of simply falling. The problem with this is that it can be used to jump over large gaps, or move considerably faster downhill. I already tried using the “realistic” gravity settings on roblox, to no avail. (Both of these videos were taken with the realistic gravity setting)

I almost never change the gravity settings. Realistic gravity doesn’t feel that realistic to me, I’d prefer to stick with the default value of 196.2 studs per second. If I don’t want characters jumping too high then I typically change the JumpPower.

I never change the gravity settings. All you have to do is go to game.StartPlayer and change the JumpPower.
