Hi, I’m finding that when players aren’t reminded to like a game, they tend to not like it. In fact, my favorites outweigh my likes at the moment (and dislikes, its not like the game is poorly rated). Youtubers have experienced this same issue and found that asking to like and subscribe has an insane impact on conversion rates. How do I non invasively ask for likes? My first thought was a little reminder at the top, but it seems like it would get annoying:
Any ideas on what else I could do? I’ve considered a like goal board, but it just seems like it is pushing the limit on the terms around asking for likes.
I see the “Leave a like if you enjoy” at the top of nearly every story, simulator etc etc games. It’s pretty annoying that most of them don’t go away or have an X button to make it go away. You could try to implement the X button or make it go away every once and a while. Also with some games, they put it in the chat instead of having it always flashing in your face. You could do that or put it in the description, it’s less obnoxious in my opinion.
You can put in the description something like, “This game will benefit from you leaving a like, thank you.” This wouldn’t effect gameplay but still get people to like the game.
