That’s a lot of plugins ;-;
I would recommend utilizing a sort of binary search to locate the problematic file.
Turn off about half of the plugins then restart Studio. If the issue persists, re-enable them and disable half of the remaining half. If the issue is within that half of a half, then split it in half again, constantly reducing the number of plugins which are disabled, until you are down to a single file (the one with the malicious code)
This should be a reason for better Plugin management features on Studio
First, let me propose an installed-Plugins search feature
It could come from multiple plugins, so I’d perform a linear search and delete any plugin that causes this functionality while keeping enabled valid plugins you’ve encountered
It was a load catalog item plugin that was the virus
It could very well be multiple plugins, however the binary search will be significantly faster. If it turns out that multiple problematic plugins exist, then they would need to do the much slower linear search (disabling every plugin, then reenabling them one at a time)
The video that showcases the “virus” isn’t really a virus lol, if that’s the actual rxdesire “Load Catalog Items” plugin, it’s probably just a bug with the new studio UI toolbar. I wouldn’t doubt that it’s got issues with initializing toolbars, that whole beta is still a mess.
I say this because I also use the plugin:
Well I still un-installed it so if it was a virus I don’t care anymore
I’d suggest turning off the new studio beta if you ever wish to use that plugin again, then
