Hey Devs,
I need a way to get rid of the sun, its creating this annoying reflection on parts that really discolours and makes them too bright. If you look at the wall in the right it’s different from the one on the left. It should match the one on the left. If possible I want to totally remove the sun.
You should get a new skybox. And reflection is probably a plugin or effect
Nothing to do with the skybox. The original one and this one both have the same light effect…
Make it nighttime, nothing else would change except it being a little darker although you could just adjust the atmosphere.
No… there’s definitely a better way.
He wants it to be day with no sun.
Click on your skybox,
and then go to where it says SunTextureId and change it to nothing
to this:
if this doesn’t work then the sun is baked into the skybox and you’ll have to go into photoshop to edit it out…
I tried this but the issue didn’t change. Making me feel like this might be a random light somewhere messing with me?
@BloxzyUGC @minecraftwolf1978 @Megalodox_Official Sorry guys, Ive figured it out. It was a surface light in the stairway to light things up and it was just messing with that 1 part…
Simply change the geographic latitude to where the sun isnt in view, it keeps it day time and the sun is not visible if you do it well.
Hey nobody will probably respond to this but the solutions here are pretty hacky and inefficient
Under your skybox there should be a setting called “CelestialBodiesShown”
Un-Check mark it so the sun doesn’t show.
