How do i replicate/build those types of rooms?

So basically i’ve been stuck on this for quite a while, i am trying to build rooms in similar style such as:

(third one not so much)

The results i have (i’ve modified this room about 100 times probably lol):

(This is supposed to be a hospital (modern hospital) room/hallway)

What am i missing? unless i copy paste their building i can’t come up with a good one by myself. is it that it’s unoriginal and im lacking building ideas? is it bad lighting? and good amount of models isn’t even made by me (took from toolbox) and if i try to make it with more originality it looks even worse. any tips yall? i started building about two weeks ago probably but i can’t really build something original that also looks as good as 4 pics that i sent above.

Thanks for your time!

Heya! I’m not much of a builder, so yeah, but I can give you some of my feedback!
So first, the rooms are really good! But I think it’s more of the lighting, the lighting is too “white”, and bright, if you take exemple on pressure, it’s more of a blueish color, while doors is a warm orangey color, after that, I can’t help much sorry lol, but I hope I helped!

you could look at posts from the Pressure dev with WIPs of the rooms, they’re carried reaaallly hard by the lighting present in the scene, so even if you have a beautifully crafted room filled with complex meshes and sophisticated layout design, with blinding lights you wouldn’t go anywhere.
all examples you’ve provided are deeply connected to the lighting preset they have. this isn’t just about the color of the lights, but also bloom, blur, colorcorrection, etc…
your layout is decent, the idea is there, great models, everything needed is present, it’s just that the lighting is all over the place i’d say, like the color tint present outside the window, slightly green lights above the beds, they all don’t complement each other, just ruinng the overall scene.
you will need to establish the mood of the scene, is it supposed to be scary, intimidating, or comforting? with that in mind just play around with lighting settings and instances, try to establish a palette, experiment with shadows, just be creative with what you make!
hope this helps

That’s pretty good for two weeks of building, what I usually do whenever I’m stuck on something that I don’t think looks right is take a break from it, don’t think about it at all and come back to it after a day or two with a clear mind and you’ll start to see it from a different perspective. I tend to do this when I work on a build that takes a while to do, so I’m constantly staring at it with no new perspective. Hope this helps.
