How do I stop lights and smoke effects etc from leaking through parts?

As you can see lights from another room impede on a room next to it. The lights go thru the parts. Is there a way to fix this?

I really have no idea, like I’m making an indoor game. Like what is the difference, I don’t really get it from testing these. I know the shadow one is way more sensitive to lights.

Hey what about smoke particles? I don’t see a property to turn off leaking through walls.

I recommend using ray casting. Particles lack a property to prevent them from clipping through objects. If you use ray casting, however, you can compare the character’s position to the emitter and turn it on or off based on that.
