Recently I have been requested to make a fully scripted gun. However, when I give it to the other person, the animations don’t play as he doesn’t have it in his inventory. Is there a way I can sell the animation to him or give him a copy?

make sure the owner of the animations is a group you are in

Unless you have the original Animation instances, you can’t really give them out without ‘stealing’ them.
A little tutorial on ‘stealing’ animations (only for educational purposes):
My anim to use as an example:
1. Go to http://www.roblox.com/asset?id=idhere, and put the id(in the example, it is 2190726498)
2. Save the file to your desktop or wherever.
3. Change the extension to an .rbxm
4. Drag the file into studio
5. Right click the keyframesquence, save to roblox

You can upload the animation dummy as a model, then the recipient(s) will need to import it from the toolbox, use the imported dummy as the animation editor rig, then save it as their own animation.

How do you save the animation to file from roblox?

Is this a method that can be used in recovering animations without any risks?

The method no longer works as roblox now protects animations.
Alright, well I think I found another solution anyways. Thank you!
