How do you make a vr game without headset?

I want to make a vr game. But I want to play it without headset… How do I do it?

You can’t AFAIK. You could hire or ask someone with a headset (such as me) to test the game, or you could buy one.

You can certainly develop code for VR, but testing you would need to hand off to another user like myself in order to test for you.

Unfortunately, its one of those situations that really require the hardware in order to produce for it.

Saying that - you could probably develop TEST CASES to simulate a headset - CFrame for the head, left and right hand, button inputs you could probably map to a controller and just base your code off those sims for quick development, but that’s another thing to make.

You can’t really test it without a headset. Even if it worked it wouldn’t be testing with the actual headset and you’d most likely miss bugs which happen with the actual HMD and controllers.
If you hired someone it’d make it crazy hard to debug anything.

Ok i undstood guys. But is there any other way to make a vr game that doesn’t include a headset like rec room?

I wouldn’t recommend trying to make a VR game without actually being in VR. The point of playing a VR game is to actually be in VR and not a simulated watered down experience of what could be. If you want to make a “good” VR without a VR headset I would say make something like hand simulator from steam.
