So I’ve been trying for days to make a custom material but I still don’t understand how to make it, I’m trying to make a bark material, if anyone can help, thanks

Create a MaterialVariant
instance in the MaterialService (in the explorer tab), name it the material you want, and choose a base material (for example, if you want a custom bark, choose “wood” as that is the closest to bark). Then upload your PBR texture images as decals, and paste their IDs in the correct field.

You can make it by using studio ai. you just need to type in what material you want it will generate it for you. Go to file beta features and enable ai.
