How do you make lighting like slight from Grace?


I’m really confused on how they achieved lighting like this for one of their entities named “Slight”

My friend (who is an experienced builder) tried making the same effect but it turned out really bright and not what i was looking for.

I do not know the game itself or how the entity behaves inside the game itself, but I think it may be just a cube with a beam always facing the front (in order to create the entity that’s always facing the camera), and then the cube itself may be casting Surface Light from every direction. Hope that helps.

Are you talking about the light emanating from the eye or the blue ambient light?

I’m talking about the ambient light, I don’t really know how i can explain this any further, sorry :frowning:

The blue light is likely done by having an invisible part with a PointLight that has a really long range. You can tweak the brightness and color of the light to not make it super bright, but still make it reach as much as the source image.
