How do you make objects move relative to an animated mesh?

We have a fully animated elephant and we’re looking to add a carriage onto its back, only problem is: the carriage wouldn’t be moving with the elephants animation. Yes you can weld it and it will move with the elephant but it will remain static and won’t go up and down.

Is there a certain or any way to resolve this issue? Perhaps attaching the carriage to the bones of the elephant?

Look into Motor6D. It’s similar to a weld, but allows the part you connect to be animated as well. so you can move the carriage along with the elephant even while it’s playing an animation.
