How do you scale a part or mesh on all of its axis at once?

I want to select a MeshPart, and scale it down so that it becomes proportionally smaller on all axis. The Scale tool doesn’t seem to do this.

Is there any plugin or tool that I can use to accomplish this?

It’s frankly ridiculous that any game development tool doesn’t have this feature in 2019… What a waste of time.

You hold shift and then drag whichever axis side and it will go smaller all at once.

That’s really weird, I tried that intuitively a few days ago with an uploaded mesh, and it wasn’t working at all. Now when I try it works with a blank MeshPart in Studio.

I probably borked some settings… embarrassing

Looks like the built-in scale functionality is just sucky, and refuses to scale down the model when one mesh is too small. Takeaway: don’t bother using built-in Roblox Studio tools, scale your meshes in a 3d modeling program to avoid pointless and cumbersome limitations.

You can also use ctrl + shift to make it expand in all directions

If your shift isn’t working, just go into properties and under scale you can subtract all 3 numbers.

Download studio build suite and there is a feature called “scale”. Inserting a number in this section will iterate the selected items’ size. Keep in mind 1 = 100%. So if you want to double the size put in 2. And for half the size, put in 0.5.

Side note, you could just group the mesh by itself and then shift + (resize tool)
