Is it just randomly thrown out to completely random users? Or is it thrown out to users who play a specific genre. I’m asking because I just don’t believe that my game, which would be Social category, is ONLY shown to people who play Social category, I feel like it’s mostly people outside this category so it just destroys Qualified Play Through Rate by Thumbnail because it’s not what they’d normally be interesting in anyways (Compared to thumbnails that Neighbors, Mic Up, etc uses)
I’ve tried countless different thumbnails for my VC Hangout game and none of them breach 1% and I just feel stuck, I’ve used Thumbnail Personalization for all of them, create creatives based on the best performing ones and nothing.
Are they all just or what because looking at Mic Up or Neighbors I don’t understand how they aren’t better or at least on par with those, which get 1000s of CCUs daily
And now, using my 2 best thumbnails, which were both consistently at least 0.60%+, are stuck below 0.20% ??? There’s just no way Roblox is actually recommending this to the right demographic I’m genuinely very confused
Yo, it’s been a while but the same bs is happening to my game too. I own an obby and it used to get 1.4% on my thumbnail - ever since I tested thumbnail personalisation the same one is getting 0.4% at best. All my other thumbnails are getting between 0.3-0.7% as well, and it’s ONLY on this game. I get the feeling that it’s not even being shown to the target audience
The modern algorithm is a abomination. Literal half thought out joke these people are so lazy.
With that said: Most important stat is click rate and day 1 retention. Nothing else even really matters anymore just have them good enough. Sounds like they removed the requirements on pay to play to boost it. It is completely flawed if you “play one big session” and not multiple tiny ones. Then again IDK they also change it every 2 weeks with no explanation. Evil
Your click rate needs to be more brainrot idk if it will stand out run multpile at once… It will go down as roblox is not pushing your game to more players. Cycle the best thumnails…
