I have just begun learning new Blender 2.8 techniques, but here is an old one of making a simple, low-poly tree. If you would like to know how it is done, feel free to leave a comment below.

For a first it looks amazing! I love the attention to color you put into the leaves!
The colors look dull, make it look vibrant.
I agree, but I also think maybe it’s the lighting making it look dull? Either way, @Generic0001 very nice first build. Keep it up.
The tree looks great, especially when you are just starting to learn to techniques. I like the diversity of colours have have put into it, it really enhances the low poly style you are going for. I agree with @toocrusty that the colours are somewhat dull and can be improved on. Overall, I like it.
Amazing work! I love it, but the colours look rather… dark and dull, Maybe change up the colours, however amazing work, well done!
Thank you. The lighting is negatively affecting the saturation of the colors. Will change soon.
For a first try, this is some great work! I think you should have the branches less spread out and a little bit more contained in the middle. Also, if you’re using a lot of colors, try making them more vibrant.
Looks amazing!
I would highly recommend adding a dirt effect and maybe even a rocky effect under it to give it a floating aesthetic, if that’s what the goal was.
Other than that, it looks wonderful!
it would look great inside a glass sphere hung on the ceiling (several spheres of different sizes)
and a desk
