How is my new group logo?

Tonight, I made a logo for my group, “Optimus Creations” on a site called Photopea.

Anyway, to the point.
New Project (3)
This took me around 25-30 minutes, and I am personally really proud of it.

This was my previous logo, made in Pixlr.
Also, for my top logo, I am currently aware of the bumpy pixels around it. I’ll hopefully get to changing it soon!
Could you wonderful people please give me some feedback on my work? Thank you!

Also, this is the 2nd time I have used Photopea, but my first time making a background in it, with a logo.

Hey there! The logo is amazing, here are a few recommendations to make your logo stand out even more:

  • Try adding icons that relate to the Group Name. In this case, for ‘Optimus’ you could try adding an Optimus Prime head with colors. If you can’t design icons, there are millions of icons that are good for your logos which can be found through Google.

  • Give your text 3D effects. The text itself is fascinating, but maybe you could change the text color rather than being white, make one word red and the other word blue to match the Optimus Prime vibe. You can find many tutorials on 3D effects on YouTube for Photopea, Photoshop tutorials work fine as well because Photopea is very similar to Photoshop.

  • Outline your text with black, followed by a white outline, fill the text background and missing spots with black to make it blend in, rather than red and blue.

  • Give your text some effects, this is similar to the 3D effects one, but this time, it’s the main text, give it shapes into clipping masks, or just even diagonal stripes clipped onto the text will upgrade your logo. You can also give it text shines as well, mainly play around with it.

  • Upgrade your logo background, rather than a red and blue mix, maybe turn it into a gradient, if you want, you could even turn both into a gradient, then a slight white circle in the middle, then add a sun stripe background onto it which can also be found on Google.

Hope this helps and gives you more control to making outstanding logos! Good luck!
