How Is This Game Icon?

I started making GFX 2 days ago, and I really like it. So, I decided to attempt to make some Game Icons.

How is this one?

Please leave your feedback! I would love to hear some!

(The tree is floating for the same reason as the coins - and a special feature INSIDE the game)

(the text will be fixed, just a moment please  )

Looking good :+1:
But when the image is put into icon size (WHich is quite small) it might be harder to see some details of the image

But good job considering you started 2 days ago.

I think it is quite remarkable considering you just started 2 days ago, I would recommend you to fix the lighting to make things brighter. Also, the render should be zoomed in more because it’s hard to see the characters from afar. Otherwise, I love your work so far, goodluck!

Very nice!
Just a quick note:
The tree is off the ground

And the front of the shops are quite dark. Lighting is always the hardest part in renders :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks great! Although I recommend upping the brightness level, I think that will catch the eye of people.

I recommend you to improve the light .

It’s kinda okay.
Also totally technology has evolved so much that there are aerostatic trees.

Well done for a beginner, but there is still a lot to improve.

  • The arm of the right character looks kinda, well, unrealistically put?

  • The tree is not placed on the ground. (I think someone mentioned that already)
    Bild
  • The “Shop” sign is placed in the window.

I hope I was able to help you with late coming feedback!

Pretty good GFX, nice job

The gfx itself is really good if you started 2 days ago! However, I do think that somethings can be improved.
The tree is floating. You can also make the gfx a tad bit brighter, the text can also be improved by using a different font and adding some shine to the text.

The background looks good, but it need something a bit more to give a simulator v i b e like colors that stand out,but not too much, better font that would mach the background and the game name itself, anyway for beeing new to making thats a good start!

I would make the actors stand out more, title bigger, and maybe just fade the background so they stand out in the foreground. I’d zoom out to about the size of how big an icon actually is on Roblox and adjust it so that it grabs your attention and is easily readable. Outlines around the actors also help to make the action pop!

For example, here’s one of mine:
supercross_icon

And here it is at about the size of a game icon:
supercross_icon

Also, sometimes less context is better. Here’s another example:

(It’s a game about throwing tables)
I’m sure you get the point. Simple is sometimes better. Maybe have just a render of a coin and then a spiral background like this.

if anyone mentions the tree again I am gonna-

Thanks everyone who replied with helpful feedback, I’ll be sure to listen!
