How many ad credits should I purchase to get a steady playerbase?

I’m currently working on a horror game called “Whisper Woods”, set in the middle of the forest is your house, and you wake up to unnatural bush rustling and have to go check it out, and turns out there is a Wendigo lurking around your house. It is a one player per server 13+ rated game, and I’d like to have a steady playerbase, at least 50-100 players at a time, how many ad credits should I purchase? And is there any other ways to get a playerbase?
