How much blood is too much?

I created a game called Zombie Break and it got taken down due to gore/violence. I’m currently trying to make the game without any blood unless the player enables it in settings, but I’m honestly a little confused as to how other games have it and haven’t been taken down. Please let me know if the current way that I have it is too much.
PS: The npcs scream when a leg/arm gets blown off and there are animations that show the npc hurting.

Also I don’t know how to show the video without like it being a download file so that’s a test and this is a repost btw

Thanks,
dza

Just copy and paste the recording from your Computer.

What did you put the age rating as for your game? Other games aren’t taken down likely because they have a setting to disable blood and they also have the correct age rating.

its essentially just a trial + error process, some games have it work but only because you enable it, other games have certain things enabled from the start, best thing to do is to turn it all off and make it a setting for players to use (like you want to)

I didn’t actually put an age requirement when I first released the game because I didn’t think there would be any players :sob: that’s probably why it got sniped so quickly

Yeah, just fill out the questionnaire and you should be good.

Roblox has age ratings now, you gotta do the questionnaire.

13+ games can be pretty gory, you just can’t show stuff like organs.
But flesh and bone seems fine.

If your game is 17+ it’s pretty much almost free game, you could make it as gory as Mortal Kombat.

It’s just important you do the questionnaire and consider what audience your game is for.
And you probably want some settings disabled by default.
