How much Robux should I use for Advertisements?

What would be the recommended amount of Robux to put in Advertisements?

I am making a Horror Game.
The inspiration of the Game is Dark Deception.

I want to become a big developer with lots of visits.
Just want to know what’s the best price to get me thousands, maybe tens of thousands of visits.

I don’t have much Robux currently, but I’m hoping I can get enough Robux from my Horror Game
to make an even bigger game. One that isn’t mostly for the money.

Where’s your own game?

Big DEV is not easy, first, your game must be original, super high quality and you must be rich, influential or have friends like that.
Visits are a lot easier, generic tycoons, robux scams, botting etc

30K in ads with a 2% CTR will get you 12 players in game every minute.
So 15K would be around 6 P/m.

For playerbase building sponsorships are better.

Yeah I saw that message before.
I bookmarked it lol

Yeah I know that, that is why I want this game to get some visits and make some robux.
Once I have a decent enough of Robux, I will find a good original, High quality game idea.

actually this is not true. I managed to get to 40M visits without 1.being rich 2.being popular 3.having friends that are popular

damn, that is sick lol. 40M+ visits??

Yes, before that, just do cash grabs
(If anyone want to argue with this, look, not everyone is here to be super original, if they profit, it means they made a community happy)

If you could elaborate the time (year) of this succession?
2008,2014,2017 we’re totally different to now, so if you are giving your old experience suggestions to a platform with a new marketing algorithm and system, that wouldn’t be useful.
Back in 2017, I made a robux scam and I got 30K visits (no bot), In 2022, you’ll need thousands of robux for it.

From my experience, a 7k robux sponsor can get you 100-200 players on a good day (Saturday, Sunday generally).

Bidding 1-2k robux in an ad with > 1% CTR can get you about 5-30 players.

These numbers generally scale. After a while, you will hit a point where you don’t make your money back/don’t get enough players, but with a small game you aren’t likely to invest that much. Just remember, sponsors are for mobile, ads for computer.

Above all, your game has to keep players. You could have all the players in the world join every minute, but if none of them stay, it doesn’t mean anything.

Oh okay, thanks for the information!

would you suggest running these sponsors on mobile over pc or vis versa? both? 7k in one sponsorship or multiple platform ones?

Yeah I was thinking of using like 10k or maybe 20k robux and split it for PC and Mobile ads.

That mainly depends on your game’s content. Mobile users are far more likely statistically to click on a sponsor, so sponsoring for mobile is more effective. However, if you game isn’t mobile compatible, sponsoring for PC is the way to go.

Generally, I do sponsoring to pull in mobile users, and ad bidding to pull in PC users. Sponsoring purely for PC users doesn’t get nearly the same amount of people - I prefer keeping sponsors fully for mobile, and ads if I am looking for PC users.

Depending on your game audience/content, the sponsor should appear something like this:

3-10k/day is generally good for sponsoring on mobile. Just mess around with different amounts of robux and target audiences, and find what works best for your game. Don’t be afraid to fail - if it doesn’t go well, it is a good learning experience for next time.

Good luck!

So you just gotta publish the game, and then eventually you’re going to get millions of plays? It doesn’t work for most people, so ads and YouTubers would be necessary

I didn’t just put it out. I just didn’t do any of the things you said you MUST have. I simply created a tiktok of my game which challenged people to try it which made more and more people see it and want to try themselves to get on the leaderboard.

How much followers do you have?
If you didn’t spent robux, and didn’t contact/is any big content creators, it seriously means that you’re lucky, congratulations.
Sadly so many people on the forum tried ads, botting, YouTubers on their decent game, which still failed to profit or gain playerbase.
