After a few months of developing a solo project I finally finished my “Flex Your ___” project called Flex Your Account Stats. But I was curious of how much robux I should spend on ads. I’ve seen this question a lot but most of the posts are from 2020-2023 and the scheme for ads have changed a lot. I am fine spending a decent amount but I also dont want to lose tens of thousands of robux.
I don’t have enough icons + thumbnails to run test ads to see what works good or not so it would just be one big main ad that would last hopefully around a week (I have no idea how much robux that would cost)
So I guess the point im trying to get is, How much robux would you recommend, how much has worked for you in the past, and should I split my ads or run test ads to see what works in my game and what doesn’t (Like name, Thumbnails and maybe icon).
Try a decent amount first and if it does well you can invest more. I think you should do around 8-15 ad credits (2k-4k robux) into the game. If it does well you can do more.
Honestly, I haven’t played your game. But, I’ve played a similar game I think it’s called “Flex your account age.” It just seems like a hangout game and I think retention wouldn’t be good if there was only like 2-3 players per server because no players = no account stats to flex.
tbh the ads were just suppose to give the algorithm a chance to recognize my game, I am not expecting to get a full blown player base just from my ads alone
Hey eggGamerECH! I tried Flex Your Account Stats on stream. The concept of flexing your account details and mixing it with puzzles is interesting and could make for a fun social-type game. That said, I struggled with one of the riddles (“look for the tree and press what you see”) and couldn’t figure out how to progress — which left me a bit stuck. I think with clearer instructions or a hint system this could be much more enjoyable. I’d love to revisit once it’s polished further!

Hi! Sorry for the late reply I’ve been really busy with school. I would like to thank you for playing my game sadly I lost interest in developing it as the systems were very hard to add new updates, But I will take this feedback into the new creations I make!
