How put color on mesh without color it

hi developers i was just see free model in toolbox just see item so i can get idea for my game so i have see hot pepper when i put in my workspace it was mesh when i Color checked it was there no texture no color no material just mesh with color I know my description seems strange because I don’t speak English

there no texture and when i put id on mesh it spawn with this texture

I think it’s because the mesh ITSELF has the texture. Applying a texture OVER the built-in one would change its external appearance.

It looks like the mesh is using vertex coloring to add more detail. Roblox supports vertex coloring on meshes to give them some extra color variance without the need for textures. Try changing the color of the MeshPart and see what happens. If the MeshPart is using vertex coloring the white bits of the mesh should be recolored while the black part stays black.

If you want to replicate this yourself, you will have to look up how vertex coloring works in your modelling program. Blender, for example, has a vertex paint mode which you can use to assign colors to certain faces or vertices. When you export your mesh from Blender it should import into Roblox Studio no problem with the vertex coloring applied.
