You should add some patterns to the wall and the floor since they look really simple, maybe make those plants a bit bigger and add some lights.
Hey there,
The lobby seems to fit a office type theme if I am correct? I highly suggest add maybe some tables and removing the square that is divided into four and put 3 tables there. Then, I suggest adding some elevators on the wall to give off a more sort of them. Maybe adding a sci-fi café inside the wall would really dazzle that up for you. Maybe adding some glowing vines on the wall also?
Sincerely,
Pr_amise
Thanks for the message but you are getting a different message then I intend! The squares are where you spawn and the game is a competitive logic puzzle game!
I recommend giving the walls a little touch up throw some paintings - patterns - signs anything that fits the theme and style your wanting;
I think you should include things to do within the lobby as it can help fill in the general spaces to make it not look dull and plain. Consider having a few reference images of lobby’s as it can give you small ideas on what you’re lacking on, e.g. “death run” has a few obstacles underground caves places to explore ect.
Throw a few more shops or buildings where players can’t buy anything, it will just be an object to fill in those empty places; it could give it a nice touch if you incorporate more things to do within your lobby. After all, these are just suggestions you can either take or gather inspiration from other games within your theme.
Haha, alrighty! Hopefully the tables and elevator are still a good idea?
i notice a lack of lighting here, or at least a lack of actual lights. maybe use point/spot/surface lights to add more to the setting, it might make it better. you probably have castshadow off on a bunch of the parts which is how it’s being lit right now. i would turn that back on.
also, walls and floor look a bit barren, would add more detail to them, maybe more props too
You should have some patterns on the walls and floor.
Looks like it has potential. Like others already mentioned, try to put some detail on the walls and floor. I recommend to not use only one texture/material for a large portion of the map such as a big wall (unless it’s (smooth) plastic). Try to make some supporting pillars, ceiling detail such as in this image:
Please, do look at images from the internet. You don’t have to be a great builder to make a decent lobby. I suggest to also add some height variation in your lobby, perhaps some windows and please avoid using standard roblox materials. Good luck!
The first step to making a great lobby is to understand the theme of your game, if your game for example is Mad Murderer you generally want some spooky or scary type of lobby.
You also want to focus on another very important aspect, making sure that players do not get bored while waiting for the next round. Create obstacles or little mini games around the lobby to keep players entertained.
I hope this helps!
Hey!
Congratulations on the lobby! But as there are empty places, there are also glaring places. Some of these ;
Try adding some plants and maybe a window with some sunlight coming in.
